Automated Exchanges 💫
Outvio connects with your Shopify store so customers can exchange products (or variants) automatically.
You can offer:
- Exchange for any product available in the store
- Exchange for a different variant of the same product
Exchange for any product available in the store
Clients can exchange items for any other product. You can recommend products of equal or higher value.
You can also encourage exchanges even if the client initially wants a return by enabling Encourage exchanges:
💡 Refunds or payments are processed through Shopify.
Exchange for a different variant of the same product
Clients can swap the item for a different variant (size, color, etc.).
You can decide when Outvio creates the exchange order: immediately, after courier pickup, or after receiving the return.
To accept returned items:
- Go to Returns 🔁
- Mark products as received
- Click Accept
Automatic refunds 💸
When refunding as store credit, you can automate the process.
Options include:
- 💸 Discount voucher → one-time code created in Shopify, sent by email.
🎁 Gift Card (Shopify Plus) → reusable balance, visible in Shopify admin (Products → Gift Cards).
🤩 Additional bonus → add fixed or % bonus on store credit.
If you enable Voucher or Gift Card + Bonus, Outvio automatically calculates the amount and generates it in Shopify.
